Hi! I am Jules. I live in the Netherlands, i was born in 2012 and my zodiac sign is Pisces (March).

I am struggling with a life-changing condition called "Misophonia", which is Latin for "Sound hatred". All sounds are okay for me to hear, unless another person makes it. For some reason, my brain picks it up as a dangerous sound and i can't do a single thing about it. My trigger sounds are eating/chewing, drinking, swallowing and clicking noises that i can't control like typing or pen clicking. Now for the first half year of having misophonia, the sounds itself were just extremely annoying to hear, but over the last years i started getting really stressed and anxious when i even thought about having to go to a party. There is no cure for misophonia, all you can do is try out therapies like hypnotherapy, EMDR and CBT. Even then, it is such a long and painful (mentally) trial that can take a while until you hopefully see some results. Now these therapies are known to help lighten symptoms, but it rarely happens that someone gets completely rid of their misophonia, but it does get better. Now onto something more lighter😁:
