Indoor Hedera Care Guide
Hedera plants, or English Ivy, are indoor (and outdoor, but this website is mostly for houseplants) plants with beautiful leaves. Their flowers are pretty small and not super showy but look funky and they grow in a cluster of flowers.
------------------------------------
WATERING:
Hedera are really flexible. In my experience, they do best in a type of soil that holds moisture. Water your Hedera when the soil is dry, but if you prefer to water on a schedule, water once a week and water it thorougly, but try to not leave it dry for more than a month, because the leaves will start to wilt, and even fall off by then.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
Giving it too much direct light can cause sun stress, which gives the leaves a red hue and can even burn the leaves. Although sun stress in every plant is beautiful, it can eventually harm the plant. When plants are experiencing sun stress, the plant releases a natural sort of chemical in the leaves called ¨Anthocyanins¨ which gives it that color.
So, give your Hedera bright, indirect light for the best growth.

PROPAGATION:
Take a stem cutting, remove the lower leaves, stick it in some moist soil or in water, and it will grow roots after a couple weeks
