Xanthosoma care guide

As of writing this (November 22th) i just heard about this plant. Some of the plants in this genus look a lot like a Syngonium, while there are others that look like a Colocasia. Just like most aroids, Xanthosoma flowers are inflorescences which can be pollinated, nothing out of the ordinary.

------------------------------------

WATERING & PROPAGATION:

Atleast water once a week, but moist soil is best for these plants, since Xanthosoma also grow from corms, moist soil can trigger corms beneath the soil to sprout. When repotting, make sure to look for those corms and grow them yourself!

------------------------------------

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS:

Try to atleast give your Xanthosoma bright, indirect light otherwise the growth will probably be less frequent, just like most plants.

------------------------------------

MEDIUMS:

They do great in hyrdoponics, but if you want to use soil, go for something that stays moist but defenitely not wet, like a mix of soil, perlite, leca, coco chips and maybe some coco peat/peat moss.
